Cerebellum - The cerebellum (Latin: "little brain") is a region of the brain that plays an important role in the integration of sensory perception and motor output. Many neural pathways link the cerebellum with the motor cortex—which sends information to the muscles causing them to move—and the spinocerebellar tract—which provides feedback on the position of the body in space (proprioception).
Flocculus - The flocculus is a small lobe of the cerebellum at the posterior border of the middle cerebellar peduncle anterior to the biventer lobule; it is associated with the nodulus of the vermis; together, these two structures compose the vestibular part of the cerebellum.
Tentorium cerebelli - The tentorium cerebelli (Latin: "tent of the cerebellum") is an extension of the dura mater that separates the cerebellum from the inferior portion of the occipital lobes.
Spinocerebellar tract - The spinocerebellar tract is a set of axonal fibers originating in the spinal cord and terminating in the cerebellum. This tract conveys information to the cerebellum for movement coordination.
