Data link layer - The data link layer is layer two of the seven-layer OSI model. It responds to service requests from the network layer and issues service requests to the physical layer.
Data Link Control - In the OSI networking model, Data Link Control (DLC) is the service provided by the data link layer.
Link protocol - In communications, the transmission of a unit of data from one node to another (data link layer, OSI layer 2). It is responsible for ensuring that the bits received are the same as the bits sent.
