Research on Research - The objective of Research on Research is to systematicaly investigate research teams and research policy to improve their productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Eminently interdisciplinary, Research on Research is conducted through four main phases:
Randomized controlled trial - A randomized controlled trial (RCT) is a form of clinical trial, or scientific procedure used in the testing of the efficacy of medicines or medical procedures. It is widely considered the most reliable form of scientific evidence because it is the best known design for eliminating the variety of biases that regularly compromise the validity of medical research.
British Pharmacopoeia - The British Pharmacopoeia is the authoritative collection of standards for UK medicinal substances. Produced under the auspices of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency it is an essential reference point for everyone involved in research, development and manufacture of formulated preparations and veterinary substances.
Olefin metathesis - Olefin metathesis or transalkylidenation (in some literature, a disproportionation) is an organic reaction which involves redistribution of olefinic (alkene) bonds. Since its discovery, olefin metathesis has gained widespread use in research and industry for making products ranging from medicines and polymers to enhanced fuels.
