Protein folding - Protein folding is the process by which a protein structure assumes its functional shape or conformation. All protein molecules are heterogeneous unbranched chains of amino acids.
Protein engineering - Protein engineering is the application of science, mathematics, and economics to the process of developing useful or valuable proteins. It is a young discipline, with much research currently taking place into the understanding of protein folding and protein recognition for protein design principles.
Folding@home - Folding@home is a distributed computing project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding. It was launched on October 1, 2000, and is currently managed by the Pande Group, within Stanford University's Chemistry department, under the supervision of Professor Vijay S.
Protein disulfide isomerase - Protein disulfide isomerase or PDI () is an enzyme in the endoplasmic reticulum that catalyses the formation and breakage of disulfide bonds between cysteine residues within proteins as they fold. This allows proteins to quickly find the correct arrangement of disulfide bonds in their fully folded state and therefore the enzyme acts to catalyse protein folding.
AvC Folding - Donating spare CPU cycles to further research on protein folding. Our goal: to understand protein folding, protein aggregation, and related diseases.
Folding@home - Protein folding simulations. Project information and software download for Windows, Linux, Solaris, and Macintosh.
Laboratory of Computational Proteomics - The lab involves all current aspects of research into protein structure and function including: molecular dynamics, ab initio folding, machine-learning based fold recognition, protein-protein interaction, and theoretical modeling of protein mechanics.
